Join a Leading Automotive Retailer in Liverpool

We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team at one of Liverpool's largest automotive retail operations.

Supporting a high-volume, multi-million-pound dealership, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts function, working closely with department managers and the wider leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join a professional, fast-paced business with genuine long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase ledger invoices and supplier payments

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries

Assisting with sales ledger administration and customer account management

Daily banking and cash reconciliations

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Supporting month-end accounting processes

Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations

Processing vehicle and manufacturer-related transactions

Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers

Ensuring compliance with company processes and financial controls

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role

Motor trade experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organisational and administrative skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines

Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
