Able Bridge Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a top 15 accountancy firm in the recruitment of a bookkeeper who will be based in the Inverness office.

This vacancy, the result of growth will report into the one of the firm’s partners and will be office based for at least 3 days per week.

The Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to provide a wide portfolio of clients with bookkeeping services. The role will cover a multitude of industry sectors and will provide a varied and rewarding role for an experienced practice bookkeeper.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;

Process accounts payable and receivable for a portfolio of clients

Complete bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Setting up client software for clients wishing to undertake their own bookkeeping

Providing helpful training to clients on using Xero & SAGE

Requirements

We are seeking a well versed bookkeeper (minimum of 3 years), of experience managing a portfolio of clients from within the UK. We are looking for applicants to be strong communicators in both written and verbal form and are seeking strong IT skills including Xero or Sage as well as MS office packages.

This is an ideal opportunity for a locally based candidate (Inverness), to join an established and growing accountancy practice.

Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
